What is AEES?

AEES - Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies - is the long-standing and successful MSc held at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Mid Wales. It covers building design, energy and wider environmental issues.

What is REBE?

The REBE MSc - Renewable Energy in the Built Environment - is a newer MSc also held at CAT. It focuses particularly on the technical and engineering side of renewable energy technology.

CAT runs both the REBE course and the AEES course at its Graduate School of the Environment.

What is AEES.co.uk?

Set up in 2004 by students of the AEES course, AEES.co.uk has been very successful at its purpose of encouraging the flow of information, ideas and knowledge between students and staff.

This site welcomes any person who is a current or past student, or staff, of the AEES or REBE courses. It also welcomes suggestions for a new name; RAABEEES is the best so far.

Prospective students, anyone wishing to find out about the courses from students, and anyone seeking environmental building or renewable energy advice are invited to post to the public forums.

If you are a student or ex-student of AEES, AEES-DL or REBE
you will need to register to use this site.

If not, you are strongly encouraged and very
welcome to use the public forums.

If you need to contact the site's admin click here.
